FYI....A couple of weeks ago, at the Car Show at the Fair Grounds, I ran into the HAT and Tshirt Guy that was at the HAMFEST last year.....(Sorry, I cant remember his name, or the name of the company.....) And he recognized me from the HAMFEST. He had a HUGE stack of the bumper stickers for the HAMS...

I could help with the hauling if you like...(even if it takes a second trip or something.....)

I was approached by one of the local people in the Great Falls Bicycle Club asking for communications support for an upcoming race that starts in Sun River, goes through Augusta, Choteau, Fairfield, back to Sun River. I told her I would check with the club....the race happens May 23. Can we get the ...

I noticed that...and wondered, beings they did not specify. HOPEFULLY, the intended users and operators are the ones doing the communicating on the appropriate bands. But I am thinking they (the original poster) are thinking that is not the case....but as you said, in a REAL emergency...... Anyway.....

I would also like to add the fact that we are more than just 2 meters! Check us out on the HF bands as well...AND, be on the lookout for Fox/Bunny hunts and other activities coming this spring!

I kinda like Doug's idea...and was going to bring that up last night...The only thing I think might hamper it is, WHO, gets to be where????? Up on Kings hill, we would need someone with some portable antenna setups and rigs...and the room to share. Or, multiple people with their setups, and working ...
